A Chic Boho Celebration: Samantha & Jordan’s Gorgeous Wedding at Crooked Willow

How They Met
Their story began on a spontaneous night out. One evening, Samantha and her friends decided to visit Raymond, Minnesota, instead of their usual spots in Spicer. As fate would have it, they ended up at Cheers, a local bar, where their paths first crossed. While Samantha played pool and the dollar egg machine, Jordan sat nearby with his friends. Before long, the two groups started chatting and laughing together.
Since Samantha didn’t know Jordan’s name yet, she jokingly called him “Edward Jones” after the logo on his sweatshirt. By the end of the night, Jordan invited her to a party the following weekend. What seemed like a casual invitation turned into the start of something special—and they’ve been together ever since.
The Perfect Proposal
Fast forward to Memorial Day weekend 2022. Samantha’s friend, a photographer from Seattle, was in town and suggested taking photos at Samantha’s parents’ ranch. The trees were in full bloom, creating the perfect spring backdrop. Samantha thought Jordan was home resting, but he had a surprise up his sleeve.
When she walked outside for photos, she saw Jordan standing in the pasture with her horse, Tess, who wore a sign that read, “Will you marry me?” In that moment, everything stood still. Surrounded by nature, love, and a few happy tears, Samantha said yes. It was a proposal straight out of a fairytale.
Wedding Style & Theme
Their wedding design was a dreamy mix of sage, moss green, olive, taupe, tan, and cream. Together, these colors created a soft, romantic palette that perfectly matched their vision.
