Today feels more like fall than summer. In fact, it’s quite chilly for a typical August day in Minnesota. Naturally, this drop in temperature has us thinking about fall weddings!
Honestly, we absolutely LOVE fall weddings. Generally speaking, outdoor celebrations are more comfortable and cool than hot summer days. Plus, the leaves start to change, offering a colorful backdrop that’s simply stunning. That being said, we believe each season brings something unique and special to your wedding day.
Winter Weddings: Cozy and Romantic
First of all, let’s talk about winter weddings. Without a doubt, they’re incredibly cozy and romantic. Specifically, we love the white sparkly backdrop that a blanket of snow creates on your special day. Truly, it’s absolutely magical.
Additionally, winter weddings offer unique style opportunities. For instance, fun customized coats and elegant shawls keep guests warm while looking fabulous. Meanwhile, deep red florals are typically chosen for this time of year. As a result, when combined with the snowy landscape, they make for such a stunning celebration.

Next, spring weddings bring their own special energy. In particular, they feel light and airy in the best possible way. As the flowers bloom and birds sing, there’s a different buzz in the air. Undoubtedly, it’s refreshing and full of life.
Furthermore, we love the soft spring color palettes couples choose. For example, blush pinks, soft lavenders, and gentle greens perfectly complement the season. Consequently, spring weddings feel fresh and hopeful. In addition, the natural renewal of the season adds even more meaning to your celebration.

Of course, summer weddings are our most popular season. Clearly, it’s easy to see why. First, the landscapes are incredibly lush and green. At the same time, wildflowers are in full bloom across our property. Similarly, temperatures are warm and inviting.
Moreover, there’s something wonderfully relaxed about summer weddings. Essentially, they have a laid-back vibe that we absolutely love. As a result, guests can enjoy the outdoors comfortably. Likewise, dancing under the stars feels effortless and natural.
Fall Weddings: Comfortable and Colorful
Finally, we circle back to fall. As we mentioned earlier, outdoor fall weddings are more comfortable than hot summer days. Therefore, the cooler temperatures mean everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. In other words, no one’s overheating in their formal wear.
Best of all, the changing leaves create nature’s perfect backdrop. Specifically, vibrant oranges, reds, and yellows surround you. Simply put, it’s breathtaking without any extra decoration needed. On top of that, the crisp air adds a romantic atmosphere to every moment.
