Everybody wants a wedding that will be remembered for years to come, not just for the couple but for the guests as well. Here are FIVE things you can do to ensure you wedding is one for the books!

1.) Write love notes.
There is no better way to start your wedding day than by reading a love note from your husband/wife to-be! Not only is it romantic, but it reminds you two that the day is, in fact, all about you! Love notes set the tone for the whole day!
2.) Have a first look (and get it photographed!)
A lot of couples are moving away from the traditional first-look at the altar and choosing to have a first look before the festivities begin. This time can be a great way for just the two of you to bask in the excitement of the day together without a whole crowd of people watching! That being said, waiting to see each other until you meet at the altar can also be just as special. Those photographs will be some of the most special ones captured on your wedding day.

3.) Have a first look with Mom and/or Dad.
Get ready for the happy tears with this one! We don’t know about you, but first looks with the parents always get us VERY emotional! This is a great way to have a quiet moment with your mom/dad before the day begins.
4.) Personalize your décor.
Many couples like to add a personal touch to their décor. Guests love to see the unique touches wrapped into your special day! Not to mention, it makes it even more memorable for you two!
5.) Write personal vows.
Just like first looks, writing your own vows is becoming more and more popular. There is nothing more memorable for you or your guests than writing personal vows. This is your chance to express all of those big gushy feelings, fun memories, and jokes that tell the story of your love and make your relationship unique!
